M.L. (Kali) Jirasko lives in a tiny house on a big mountain in the middle-of-nowhere, Montana, with one cat, two horses, three dogs, dozens of chickens, and several hundred books.  She has a Masters in Architecture from MSU-Bozeman, but still prefers designing stories to designing buildings.  When not writing Young Adult Fantasy, she's usually going for long walks alone, exploring national forests, or looking for an unusual seasonal job she hasn't tried yet, all while drinking too much coffee.
